Government Shutdown National NPS Numbers October 1st-16th 2012

  • 414 million- loss in revenue by shutting down national parks
  • 7.8 million- fewer visitors in October to national parks as a result of the shutdown.

  • 3.9 million- estimated loss in revenue at Arches National Park
